In a continuing initiative to connect University of Maryland University College (UMUC) students, alumni and the greater community with top employers, UMUC’s Career Services team recently held a recruiter session featuring a trifecta of top-name employers: The Walt Disney Company, ICF International and State Farm.
In her keynote address to University of Maryland University College Europe (UMUC Europe) Class of 2016, a class marked by multiple firsts, Ambassador Marriët Schuurman invoked the words of anthropologist Margaret Mead in challenging celebrants to “never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.”
The day was full of triumphant smiles and jubilant cheers as years of hard work and dedication were celebrated by more than 200 University of Maryland University College Europe (UMUC Europe) graduates at the Gartenschau Event Hall in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on April 30.
